This Privacy Policy describes how Copy & Save ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our browser extension and authentication website at copysave.app.
To provide authentication and sync your saved items across devices, we collect:
When you sign in with Google, we only request the minimum scopes (email, profile, openid) needed to identify your account. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or any other Google service. We do not sell, rent, or share your Google user data with third parties for advertising.
Your account data, authentication records and saved items are stored on Supabase, a secure cloud database and authentication provider. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Authentication is handled through industry-standard OAuth 2.0 and secure session tokens.
Subscription payments for the PRO plan are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. We do not store or have access to your full credit card details. Stripe receives the information needed to process your payment (such as billing email, card details, and country) and shares with us only the data required to manage your subscription (customer ID, subscription status, plan). You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal accessible from the extension.
We use strictly necessary cookies and secure session tokens (stored locally in your browser and/or extension storage) to keep you signed in and to link the extension to your account. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with infrastructure providers strictly needed to operate the service — currently Supabase (database and authentication) and Stripe (payments) — under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Account deletion is permanent and removes all your saved items.
Copy & Save is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
